Beef Boner Thomas Irvine Stars in TV Commercial

More to Meat’s campaign visited JBS Beef City in Toowoomba, meeting employee and Beef Boner Thomas Irvine who is now the star of our new TV commercial.

A job in red meat processing has helped a person like Thomas have a long and fulfilling career in a safe and supported environment.

Thomas said to us: “My job at JBS Beef City has helped me to save money and buy a house, which is very rewarding and humbling.”

Thomas wasn’t sure what to do after high school, until his father suggested he try red meat processing and he never looked back.

Since joining JBS Beef City, Thomas has worked different jobs and learnt a range of diverse skills. Red meat processing has given him new opportunities to learn and be promoted within his workplace.

Now Thomas is a skilled beef boner and credits his time at Beef City with helping him to develop a strong work ethic.

Thomas said his work ethic has helped him in all aspects of his life, whether it is “going to the gym, saving money and in relationships.”

Thomas is one of the 138,000 people across the nation whose job is supported by the Australian red meat processing industry.

From beef boners to packagers, truck drivers, farmers and retailers, a range of Aussies across the nation work together to deliver high-quality red meat products.
